Every two years, dentists and staff are required to complete a certified BLS (basic life support) class. Some of us at Relaxation Dentistry have taken BLS more than 10 times in the past 20 years. For the past 6 years, we’ve had the privilege of having Jackie Charbel of CPR Specialists come to our location and teach us the latest in life saving techniques. This year we did several hours of online training at https://elearning.heart.org before Jackie came to our office.
We all thought the online course was well presented and we were prepared and ready to do some “hands on” when we had our in-office training. Jackie is passionate about the latest in life saving techniques. She gets right to the point making sure we learn the proper techniques for infants, children and adults including chest compressions, ventilation, choking, and use of AED (defibrillator). We were lucky to have her as our instructor the past 6 years and would highly recommend her to any group or organization that wants to learn the latest in AHA BLS.
