Helping You Regain Better Oral Health
Many oral surgery procedures can be completed in our office. Procedures we routinely provide are tooth extractions, biopsies, and dental implants. Other procedures, such as wisdom tooth (third molar) extraction or the need for IV sedation will require a referral to an Oral Surgeon.
Most Oral Surgeons will require a referral or recommendation from a general dentist prior to wisdom tooth extraction. We can help you make a decision about your wisdom teeth and present you with all possible options at your next appointment. Removing wisdom teeth may not always be your best or only option.
We routinely use 3D cone beam CT scans to help us visualize tooth roots, sinuses, nerve locations, and dental anatomy prior to placement of dental implants and other procedures. 3D imaging helps us to diagnose problems that may not be visible on conventional 2D x-rays. It also helps us to avoid complications and improve outcomes for dental implant procedures and some oral surgery procedures.
We are happy to be your emergency dentist for sudden tooth pain and problems. In many of these emergency situations, tooth extraction is an option that may be considered. We will always discuss all of the options with you.
Procedures we routinely provide are:
- Tooth Extractions
- Biopsies
- Dental Implants.
